Jacob Lee Williams

Jacob Lee Williams-Murphy was born on November 9, 1977, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to his father, Joe Dugan Murphy, and mother, Carla Vaughan Murphy. Jacob died being a good Samaritan on March 13, 2019, at his home.

He was a brilliant gentleman, gifted with many talents. One of his most prominent was playing piano. One night, upon hearing his playing, he was requested to perform for then Governor Walter's birthday party. However, he was mainly a ballroom dancer, but had many different jobs through his life, including: a member of the Tulsa Chorus and Tulsa Opera, Ferrier, chef and waiter at several restaurants, farmer, home builder, and landscape designer. Jacob was vastly intelligent and always being challenged with something new.

He is survived by: children, Graham Wright Williams, Amelia Williams, James Dugan Williams; mother, Carla Murphy; brothers, Pat Murphy, and Erik Williams; many nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Nina Tilander Espool, of Finland.

Jacob is preceded in death by: his father, Joseph Dugan Murphy; grandparents, James B and Doris Vaughan, and Robert Earl and Mabel Murphy; a sister, Kathy Jo Murphy Robison; and a nephew Grant Robison.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel, with a reception immediately following in Schaudt's Tulsa Reception Center.

Funeral services and cremation care are under the direction of Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service.
