Helen Marie Murrell

On August 7, 2011 the family of Helen Marie Murrell reluctantly released her into the loving hands of God . Helen was born Helen Marie Kimber on March 8, 1931 in Toledo, Oregon to Albert Allen Kimber and Mary Helen (Crawford) Roberts She graduated from high school in 1949. On September 11, 1952 she married Kenneth Ard Murrell and together they had four daughters. They lived in Florence, Oregon from 1967 to 1994. From Florence they moved to Prineville, Oregon where they remained until their move to Oklahoma in 2006. Helen was a woman whose love for God and family goes unparalleled. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Ryan Morgan. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ken of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her daughters; Jeannine Yesko of Hagerstown, Maryland, Jeannette Williamson and husband Jeffrey of Eugene, Oregon, Margie Swenson and husband Joel of River Falls, Wisconsin, Joyce Johnson and husband Hod of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a brother, David Kimber of Oklahoma. She also had eight grandchildren; Aaron Carr-Callen, Roger Rountree, Todd Johnson, Greg Johnson, Devin Johnson, Logan Callen, Molly Callen and Billy Yesko. Great grandchildren include, Rhiannon, Madaleine, Willow, Sage, Lauren, Elizabeth, Calvin, Taylor, and Joseph. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tulsa Hills Baptist Church, 8600 South Union, Tulsa, Oklahoma Pastor Verne McCabe will officiate.
