Harry Ferdinand Stemkowski

Harry Ferdinand Stemkowski, age 76, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020.

He was born on June 17, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, to Harry S. and Anna Elizabeth Stemkowski. He grew up in Tulsa, and then joined the military, honorably serving his country in the Army.

On May 27, 1978, he married the love of his life, Ermil Banks.

Harry worked for the City of Tulsa as a water treatment operator for over 30 years. He enjoyed gardening, especially with his tractor, and was a craftsman of wood and metal. Harry loved music and spending time with friends and family, but he absolutely loved making his granddaughter laugh.

Harry is survived by his wife, Ermil; daughter, Carrie Ann Stemkowski; granddaughter, Anna Elizabeth Stowe; and his only brother, Terry William Stemkowsi.

A graveside service honoring the memory of Harry will be held at 10am, on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
