Surrounded by his loved ones & extended family, Glen Edward Vail, 73, of Wilburton, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 03, 2023. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church, Hitchita, Oklahoma.


Glen was born on August 30th, 1949, McAlester General Hospital, to Colman "Coley" and Delia "Tinsey" (Gray) Vail and grew up in Canadian, Oklahoma.


Glen was a Truck Driver by trade, having worked on the railroads in his earlier years, a avid outdoorsman, a Coon Hunter, a Boxer in his earlier years. many knew Glen by his story telling days, many adventures were told. He played Basketball for Canadian Cougar's & baseball for independent teams. He always fought hard & succeeded in everything he did.


Glen had one of the biggest Hearts, he especially enjoyed mentoring and giving to others.


Glen was predeceased by his Father, Coley Vail, in 1999 and by his Mother Tinsey Vail, in 2021. His wife Cynthia "Cindy" (Bogges) Vail in 2013. Also niece Charyl Schultz in 2014. Glen is survived by his siblings, Phyllis Hailey & Robert of Canadian, JoAnn Cable of McAlester, Faye Taylor & Mike of Glenpool, Denise Sinclair of Catoosa.


Survived by Uncle Ronald Gray & Sue of Eufaula, Aunt Imogene "Midge" Robertson of Del City, Survived by host of niece's, nephew's, cousins & extended family & friends.


Also extended family at Latimer Nursing Home in Wilburton, Oklahoma.
