Geneva Ruth Taylor

Geneva Ruth Taylor, a resident of Okemah, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years. She was born on November 20, 1941 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to John Pigeon and Gertie McNac. Geneva was preceded in death by her mother, Gertie Treadwell, sister Joyce Taylor, and husband Wesley Russell Taylor. She is survived by father John Pigeon, 2 daughters: Jeanette Johnson of Okemah, OK and Sandra Foley of Tulsa, OK; 2 sons: Tully Johnson of Okmulgee, OK and Leslie Taylor of Tulsa, OK; 5 brothers: Jim Billie of Portland, OR, Jimmy Pigeon of Tulsa, OK, John Pigeon, Jr. of Okmulgee, OK, Walter Pigeon of Okemah, OK, and Billy Ray Pigeon of Cass Lake, MN; sister Priscilla Tecumseh of Okmulgee, OK; 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends. Viewing for Geneva will be held on Thursday March 17th from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday March 18th from 8:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.. A wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, March 18th at the Hickory Ground #1 Church. Funeral Services will be held on 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Hickory Ground #1 Church with Reverend Mitchell Taylor officiating.
