Freda Fern Anglin

October 16, 1942 — April 30, 2019

Freda Fern Plumlee-Briggs-Anglin, went to be Jesus with members of her loving family by her side on April 30, 2019, at the age of 76 years.

Freda was born on October 16, 1942, in Rose, Oklahoma, to her parents, Estel and Opal Plumlee. She met her husband, James Anglin, and they were married on October 20, 1972. She worked hard as homemaker taking care of her children and grandchildren, and loved to spend time visiting with family.

In 1968 Freda became a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Pryor, OK. In recent months, Freda attended God's Shining Light Church in Skiatook. He return to worship and her faith in Jesus was the most important event in her life. She told everyone who would listen about her renewed faith.

She enjoyed crocheting, painting ceramics, and sewing - until her arthritis became too severe. Later she found joy in Adult Coloring Books and would give the pictures to others in hopes of brightening their days. The pictures created while on hospice will be used to create inspirational postcards for other hospice patients and their families.

Freda's legacy is Love. She lived it -- and gave it freely.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and one brother.

Freda leaves many loving memories with her family, husband James C. Anglin, son Darrell and wife Cheryl Briggs, son Douglas Briggs, daughter Tracey and husband Steve Langston, daughter Michelle Taylor, granddaughter Tonya Briggs, grandson Colby Briggs, grandson Dylan Briggs, granddaughter Cheyenne Chuckluck, grandson James Anglin Jr, grandson Aaron Martinez, great-grandson Julian Baldino, great-granddaughter Jordan Houston, and great-grandson, Cameron Oxhandler.
