Floyd Ray Powell

Floyd Ray Powell age 65 of Claremore, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Floyd was born June 7, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Alfred Earl Powell and Verda (Burkhart) Powell. He attended Central High School in Tulsa. He married Linda Jane Peevyhouse on January 9, 1965 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He worked as a machinist in the oil industry for forty-six years. Floyd enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and following their activities. He also liked to fish. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred and Verda Powell, his two brothers, Donald and David Powell. He is survived by his wife, Linda Powell of Claremore, his three sons, Tracy Powell and his wife, Shelly of Jenks, Trevin Keith Powell of Locust Grove, Trad Powell of Tulsa, his six grandchildren, one great grandchild other family members and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Schaudt's Funeral Service, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Newspring Family Church, Jenks, Oklahoma. Reverend Greg Ables will officiate. Pallbearers are: Victor Conner, Scott Banks, Ronald Humphries, Eddie Bock, Kelly Bock, Matt Peevyhouse and Scott Ward. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
