Evelyn Joan Brown

Evelyn Joan Brown, 61, of Sand Springs, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, November 18th, with family by her side. She was born on November 4, 1956 in Tulsa, OK to Norma (O'Reily) and Richard Turnbow.

Evelyn grew up around Tulsa and received her bachelor's degree from Langston University. She work as manager for many restaurants in the Tulsa area. She was a proud veteran on the United States Marine Corp. When Evelyn was not hard at work, she enjoyed reading autobiographies and books about paranormal activity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brown; parents, Norma (O'Reily) and Richard Turnbow; and sister, Mary Turnbow.

Survivors include her daughter, April Graham and husband, Josh of Sand Springs, OK; son, Richard Brown of Okmulgee, OK; grandson, Connor Graham; sister, Ann Turnbow; and many other family and friends.
