Eric Jay Ross

Eric Jay Ross, a longtime resident of Okmulgee, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at the age of 50. He was born on Tuesday, March 15, 1960 to Newton and J. Penne (Richardson) Ross in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1978 and was a mechanic at Kellogg’s Tire and Service Center in Okmulgee. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scott Ross. Survivors include his best friend, Beckey Welch of the home and numerous friends and family that loved him and will miss him dearly. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Burial will follow the service under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Shurden-
