Edna Arlene Phillips

Edna Arlene (Pugh) Phillips age 83 passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 at her son's residence surrounded by loving family members.
Edna was born in Muse, Oklahoma to John Pugh and Ernie V. (Rose) Pugh on October 30, 1924.
Edna attended Jenks Schools. She married Raymond Phillips and resided in Jenks for most of her life. Edna liked being a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of children, ironing clothes, and she liked doing crossword puzzles. She also was known for sewing patches on police and fire uniforms. Edna was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Jenks.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents: John and Ernie Pugh; her husband: Raymond Phillips of Jenks who passed away in September of 1990; her brother: Raymond Fields of Muse, Oklahoma and her son: Raymond Allen Phillips of Jenks.
She is survived by her children: Dennis Phillips and his wife, Sandy of Fredericksburg, Texas; Karen Laust and her husband, Tom of Glenpool; Velma Bright and her husband, David of Bixby; and Bobby Phillips of Tulsa; her brother: Percy and his wife, Evelyn Fields of Collinsville; sisters: Edith Brown of Jenks; Faye Carter of Jenks; and sister in-law, Esther Fields of Muse; she had eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Service in Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday at Tulsa Hills Baptist Church, 8600 S. Union, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Troy Hayes will officiate.
