Donna Jean Fish

Donna Jean (Good) Fish, 85, Broken Arrow, OK died in her sleep of natural causes in the Memory Care Unit of Prairie House Assisted Living on January 24, 2021. She was born August 31, 1935 in Parsons, KS.

Donna is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edwin M. Fish of Broken Arrow, OK and their children Leanna, Brian and his wife Leona, Scott, Neil and his wife Elizabeth; 8 grandchildren Miranda, Andrew, Jenna, Alex, Sydney, Eilie, Callie, and Mason; 11 great grandchildren Courtlyn, Bradlee, Carleigh, Avery, Ruby, Benjamin, Owen, Elliette, June, Addison, and Holden. Her love of family extended to many honorary grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Emory E. Good Jr. and Esther Good, sister Judy Langley, and granddaughter Ashley Fish.

Donna was a devoted wife, an accomplished seamstress, a fabulous and fun-loving mother, and mentor to many as a leader of Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. She celebrated every holiday with gusto and great cheer through decorations, the annual Christmas letter, and mailing innumerable greeting and birthday cards every year. Her party and event planning were thematically coordinated, detail-oriented, and she made great effort to ensure every occasion was a joyous event. Gardening and floral design brought her great joy. Those who knew Donna best were sure to enjoy her caring heart, quick wit, and sense of humor; she was always up for a good laugh.

Services are planned for 10:00 am Thursday January 28, 2021 at Schaudt Funeral Service 5757 S Memorial Dr Tulsa, OK 74145. Burial at Memorial Lawn Cemetery Parsons, KS will be at a later date to be announced.
