A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of David Eugene Embrey will be held at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:00 PM.

David Eugene Embrey, 42, a resident of Vinita, passed away December 22, 2019. He was born June 6, 1977, to Eugene Howard Embrey and Delores Embrey.

David recently worked for K&S Electric of Okmulgee and did many jobs for Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma as well. He was a master electrician. He single-handedly put all the lights on the chandelier in the foyer of the Holiday Inn in Okmulgee. In his youth, he was well known for his ability as a salesman at the Flea Market on 6th street in Okmulgee with his dad, uncle Bill Embrey and Aunt Carolyn.

Preceding him in death were his father, Eugene Embrey; brother Donald Embrey; sisters Kathy Weinrick and Judy Embrey; brother-in-law Mike Weinrick; and niece Cati Rae Thomas.

He is survived by the love of his life Nima Bennet; mother Delores Gabel-Embrey-Chowning of Henryetta; a son, Austin Rolen and wife Alyssa of Stillwater; siblings, Daniel Embrey and wife Kymberly of Ferndale, Wash., Tina Tilton and husband Fred of Okmulgee, and Peggy Thomas of Henryetta; and numerous other relatives.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s.
