Darrell Scott Moorhead

Darrell Scott Moorhead age 65 passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 in Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Scott was born July 4, 1943 in Brownfield, Texas to Darrell Pierce (Stuffy) Moorhead and Mola (Walker) Moorhead. He graduated from Denver City High School in Denver City, Texas; New Mexico State University and held a BS degree in Business Administration. Scott enlisted into the United States Marine Corp in 1963 and served in Viet Nam. On June 24, 1967 in Superior, Wisconsin he married, Jeanne, his wife of 41 years. Scott worked 15 years for Citgo in the real estate management department before retiring. He was the former District Director and member of Goldwing Road Riders Association. He was an avid reader; went to all his children's sporting events; loved to travel, play poker, golf and woodworking. He especially loved living in the country.
Scott was preceded in death by his father D.P. Moorhead and most recently his mother: Mola Moorhead who passed away on June 19, 2008 while on a missionary trip to Peru.
He is survived by his wife: Jeanne Moorhead of Glenpool, Oklahoma; his sons: Cord Moorhead and his wife, Katie of Chandler, Arizona; Jason Scott Moorhead of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his sister: Cydney Molleur and her husband, Loren of Andrews, Texas along with his grandchildren: Milo Scott Moorhead and Nila Jeane Moorhead.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2008 at First Baptist Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Steven McAbee will officiate.
