Dan J. Hunter age 50 passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010 at his residence in Kiefer, Oklahoma.
Dan was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on November 2, 1959 to Murel A. Hunter and Linda A. (Gant) Hunter. He graduated from Glenpool High School with the Class of 1977 and attended OU. Dan was an avid OU Football fan (a season ticket holder); he loved to go to the beach and travel. He married Gina Eloise at First Baptist Church in Glenpool on August 15, 1992. Dan worked as a property manager for Mid America Reality and at one time for Williams Companies. Dan attended New Beginnings Baptist Church, Bixby, Oklahoma.
Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alice and Harrold Frazee; his grandfather: Louis (Luie) Gant and his grandfather: James Hunter "PaPa".
He is survived by his wife: Gina Hunter of Glenpool; his parents: Murel and Linda Hunter of Tulsa; his daughter: Danielle Hughey and her husband, Ben of Tulsa; his son: Adam Hunter of Tulsa; his granddaughter: Gabrella "Amy" Hughey; his brothers: Dirk Hunter and family of Houston, Texas; Kevin Hunter and family of Glenpool; Mark Frazee and family of Houston, Texas along with numerous cousins, other family members, friends and acquaintances.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at New Beginnings Baptist Church, 4104 E. 151st Street, Bixby, Oklahoma. Reverend Phil Sallee will officiate.
