Connie Sue Purcell

Connie Sue Purcell, longtime Broken Arrow resident, passed away Thursday evening, November 1, 2018, with her family by her side, at the age of 71 years, after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's.

She was born on July 3, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to her parents, Harvey Slater and Virginia (Putman) Slater.

Connie met her best friend and love of her life, James Purcell, and they were married on December 28, 1998 in Eureka Springs, AR.

She worked as a Circuit Board Builder for AMI in Broken Arrow for many years. Connie loved going fishing with Jim. They both enjoyed spending time on the lake. She also loved doing crafts, making afghans, flower arrangements, painting, and attending art classes. She was very talented crafter.

Connie is preceded in death by her father, Harvey Slater.

She leaves many loving memories with her family, husband, James Purcell, mother, Virginia Slater, son, Robert English, brother, Clifford Slater, nephew, Charles Slater, as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel.
