Clarence Ray Wells, a resident of Gore, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in Gore, OK at the age of 75 years. Clarence was born on September 2, 1935 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Harvey Edmond Wells and Beula Belvie Tyler. He was married to Betty Wells-Drum. He worked as a self-employed Auto Mechanic, but was also a Cowboy. Clarence was preceded in death by his grandson, Billy Shane Wells, his brother Dale Wells, and his son Billy Wells. He is survived by his wife Betty Wells of the home, children: Cathy and husband Robert "Bob" Harvey of Sperry, OK, and Max Wells and wife Judy of Sperry, OK, sisters: Nita Schultz and husband Dick of Dallas, TX and Donnie Van Horn, brother Ed Wells and wife Erlene of Sapulpa, OK, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation for Clarence will be held on Thursday, September 16 from 11:00am-8:00pm at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Friday, September 17 at 2:00pm at the Hanna Cemetery in Hanna, Oklahoma. Services under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home of Henryetta.
