Charles Brian Hummel

Charles Brian Hummel, Sr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2021 at the age of 84.

Charles was born on May 7, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to Grace (Whightsil) Hummel and Charles Hummel. He attended Catholic school and graduated in 1955. During his childhood he became a big fan of Ohio State University and attended several football games. He joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Charles met his wife, Carol in 1959, and they were married on October 1, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio. They had two children, Cathy and Charles Jr. The family took many trips around the country in their camper and made many memories together. Charles helped coach the boys soccer team, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Kiwanis Club. He worked several jobs throughout his life and once retired, he enjoyed spending his time woodworking in his shop that doubled as his man cave. He could be found there, watching different sporting events and his favorite team, Ohio State University. During his retirement he took a job woodworking and transporting for Event One.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Grace and Charles Hummel, siblings; Gretchen, Karen, and Gary Hummel.

Charles is survived by his wife; Carol of the home, children; Cathy Hummel of Broken Arrow, OK and Charles Hummel, Jr. of Bella Vista, AR, grandchildren; Ethan and Ella Hummel, along with other loving family and friends.
