Bobby Gene Mills

Bobby Gene Mills age 87 went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

He was born September 28, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to John M. Mills and Bonnie Davis Mills. He graduated from Stilwell High School with the Class of 1955. Bob served his country by enlisting as a Private in the US Army in 1958 and was honorably discharged in 1964. He married Esther Sue Cox on July 13, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed going to church at First Baptist Church - Jenks, fishing, playing golf, watching sports, particularly college football, and spending time with his family. He worked for Mahan Leasing Company for many years.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sue; parents John and Bonnie Mills; sisters Bernadean Arnette, Bernice Worley, Joy Longshore, and Hope Tomando; brothers Tom Mills and Verble Mills.

He is survived by his two daughters, Donna (Paul) and Christine (Joe); his loving grandchildren Tyler (Amy), Kaitlyn (Brett), Drew (Lexi), Kasey (Dylan) and Emily; his great grandchildren, Beau and Brooklyn; his brothers Coy Mills and Ray Mills along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and acquaintances.

The family would like to thank Saint Francis Hospice for its kind and compassionate care of Bob as well as Mark Powell, Ouida Edwards, and Dan and Connie Taylor for their continued love and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Francis Hospice and First Baptist Church - Jenks.

Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at First Baptist Church - Jenks. Pastor Mark Powell will officiate.
