Billie Susan Murdock

Billie Susan (Powell) Murdock age 62 passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at her Tulsa residence surrounded by loving family members. Billie was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 25, 1949 to Wilfred Martin Powell and Virginia Gertrude Powell. She graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1967 and graduated from NSU in December 1970. Billie was a teacher at Cleveland Middle School before retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed painting, traveling, photography, fishing, spending time with her family and she loved shopping. Billie was of Methodist faith and was a church member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Billie was preceded in death by her parents: Wilfred and Virginia Powell. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Murdock of Tulsa, her sister, Jacqueline Ward of Ft. Worth, Texas, her niece, Kimberly Ward of Ft. Worth, Texas and her sister, Sylvia Hickman of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Mason Chapel at Asbury United Methodist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
