Betty Jo Cox

Betty Jo (Roberts) Cox, Tulsa resident, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the age of 73 years. She was born on March 6, 1945 in Claremore, OK to her parents, Elmer Roberts and Ethel (Bowers) Roberts.
She met the love of her life, Thomas E. Cox, Jr. and they were married on July 6, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She worked as a Human Resource Manager for GRC (Geophysical Research Corporation).
Betty had 100% perfect attendance for all 12 years of her schooling. Wildflower photography was her passion and Thomas and Betty traveled through 23 states exploring the United States and photographing all the different species of wildflowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ethel Roberts; sister, Phyllis Roberts.
She leaves many loving memories with her family: husband, Thomas Cox; daughter, Pamala Smith and husband, Chris; daughter, Tricia De Luca and husband, Brian; sister, Linda Fromholzer and husband, Dennis; grandson, Nicholas De Luca; granddaughter, Sophia De Luca; as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
