Benny James Byington

Benny James Byington passed away on January 22, 2018 at Arbor Village Nursing Home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma with his loving family by his side. He was born in Kenwood, Oklahoma on December 2, 1941 to the parents of William James Byington and Audie Lane Bryan.

Benny spent his working years as a stationary engineer. When he was not working he loved being in the great outdoors, whether that be spending his time fishing, hunting and camping. Most people would tell you that wherever there was food, Benny would be there. He loved to eat. He was always up for a good session of Karaoke and a good time no matter what it was. Most importantly though, Benny loved his family more than anyone and he will always be remembered as a loving grandfather, father and friend.

Benny is preceded in death by his parents; William Byington and Audie Bryan and sisters, Kathy Robertson and Ramona Barnes.

He is survived by his son, Benjamin James Byington; daughter in law, Angelia Byington, brothers; Carl Bryan, Jimmy Byington, Billie Allen, sisters; Donna Byington, Shirley Jones, Mary Tucker, Judy McCoy, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
