Benjamin F Aspy

Benjamin F. Aspy, 71, of Okmulgee, OK, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Benjamin was born in Charleroi, PA on December 10, 1945, a son of the late Alda Elizabeth (Blackburn) and Benjamin Franklin Aspy, III. Benjamin graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1964. He attended OSU Tech where he learned Electrical Maintenance. In June of 1982 he married Sharon Louvier Aspy and made a home in the Nuyaka area.

Benjamin proudly served with the Army Reserves. He was a deacon at the Nuyaka Baptist church, an avid coon hunter, and enjoyed working on the family farm.

Family members left to cherish the memory of Benjamin are his wife Sharon of Nuyaka; daughter Kim Doak (husband Justin of Bixby); Grandchildren Langley and Logan Doak of Bixby; Niece Jody Smith of Edmond and Brother-in-law Joe Peeler.

Public Viewing will be held 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, July 17th at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers in Okmulgee, OK .

Graveside Services 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 18th at Okmulgee Cemetery in Okmulgee, OK with Rev. Jarrod Kendall officiating.
