Audie Alan Swinney

Audie Alan Swinney, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the age of 28. He was born November 18, 1982 to Audie G. and Barbara Ellen (Blehm) Swinney in Wichita, Kansas. Audie graduated from Wilson High School in 2002 and was a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ellen (Blehm) Swinney in 1994. Survivors include his parents, Dr. Audie Swinney and Beverly Jean Swinney of Henryetta; daughter, Karrie Leann Swinney of Okmulgee; grandmother, Gertie Swinney of Macomb, OK; brother, Michael Ray Swinney and fiancé, Amber Sowder of Tahlequah; brother, Josh McLoud and wife, Reachel of Sapulpa; sister, Angel Wells and husband, Justin of Glenpool; sister, Jennifer Mann and husband, Casey of Tyler, TX and numerous other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Brother Jack Vance officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Tribbey Cemetery in Tribbey, Oklahoma under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Pallbearers will be Alan Swinney, Marty Swinney, Douglas Swinney, Michael Swinney, Jay Hammonds and Charles Blehm. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh McLoud, Justin Wells and Larry Blehm. Visitation will be Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta.
