Anthony Allen Kennedy

Anthony Allen (Tony) Kennedy, 56, of Jenks, Oklahoma, entered into rest on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Anthony was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 4, 1961, to the late Bette Rae (Edmiston) Kennedy and Larry Frank Kennedy. He was a Jenks High School graduate with the class of 1979. A year later, he married the love of his life, Charla Renee (Bice) Kennedy on October 4, 1980, in Jenks, Oklahoma. Tony was employed with American Alloy Steel in their sales department, where his genuine smile and handshake were appreciated by not only his coworkers but by his customers, as well. He loved spending time with his family at the lake, winning a round of golf, and watching an intense game of football. Friends and family will miss how he always saw the good in everyone and his big bear hugs.

Tony is preceded in death by his parent; Bette and Larry Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife; Charla Kennedy of Jenks, Oklahoma, sons; Jordan Kennedy of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Blake Kennedy and his wife Melissa of Jenks, Oklahoma, brother; Scott Kennedy and his wife Cindy of Bixby, Oklahoma, granddaughter; Charli Rae, sister-in-law; Angie Overman of Jenks, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel & Cremation Care Centers, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma 74033.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Life Church Jenks, 890 W. 81st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, with Pastor Tim Knox and Pastor Aaron Hunter officiating.
