Amilena “Amy” Pierce, a resident of Henryetta, was born on July 22, 1931 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Ted and Edith McLaughlin. She was a longtime nurse’s aide and attended the Assembly of God Church. Amy passed away on March 18, 2010 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Edith McLaughlin, first husband, Chuck Lamar, second husband, Bob Pierce, sister Evelyn McLaughlin, great niece Cassidy Stout, and step-mother Quneta McLaughlin. She is survived by her 2 sons, William “Bill” Mull and wife Pam of Sapulpa, OK and Jason Pierce and wife Heather of Bristow, OK; daughter Karen Frair and husband Willie of Henryetta, OK; brother Roxie McLaughlin and wife Yvonne of Henryetta, OK; 7 grandsons, Brandon Mull, Jason Mull, Chase Harley, Joseph Pierce, Bryar Pierce, Colton Peirce, and Kaegan Stacy; granddaughter Alexandria Stacy; 2 great grandsons, Gage Mull and Saxton Mull; great granddaughter Skylar Mull; 2 nieces, Shelly Hensley and Lacresa Stout and husband Robert; great nephew Joshua Griffith; great niece Saydee Stout; good friend and neighbors Diane and Frank Heddings; as well as many other friends and relatives. Services for Amy Pierce will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 10:00am in the Shurden Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be reverend Duke Britt. Interment will follow at the Hoffman Cemetery.
