Alan Wayne Chase

March 13, 1949 — December 17, 2018

Alan Wayne Chase, 69, died on December 17, 2018, at his home in Tulsa, Ok. He was born 3/13/1949 in Tulsa, Ok. Alan attended Daniel Webster high school, year graduated 1967. He loved to play baseball and he also wrestled in high school and went on to college with a wrestling scholarship. He joined the Army on June 23, 1969, and served in the Vietnam war and then returned to finish his college education at the University of Tulsa with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. His work at Chevron as a petroleum engineer allowed him to travel and see many different parts of the world including Kuwait and Africa.

He married Patsy in August of 1986 in Tulsa. Alan enjoyed spending time with his family especially the grandchildren, he also enjoyed working on his farm, playing golf, and watching football. He loved spending time with family and was a devoted parent, and grandparent.

He was preceded in death by parents, and his beloved Patsy Chase, his wife of 28 years. 

He is survived by his children Brandon Chase and wife Jonna and Dusty Dean, both of Owasso, his 4 grandchildren, Canyon, Chandler, Boston and Asia, all of Owasso, his brother Gene Chase and wife Brenda of Gore, OK, and sister Debbie Gray of Tulsa, OK.

A committal service for Alan will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
