Wanda Lee Jones

Wanda Lee Jones, daughter of Alta (McCoy) and Willie Jacobs, passed away, Friday, December 2, 2016 at her home in Tulsa. Wanda was born in Fame, Oklahoma. She was the eldest of nine children. Wanda graduated from Eufaula High School in 1951.

Wanda married the love of her life, Herman Jones, on May 19, 1953. They celebrated 63 years of marriage. They had two beautiful children together, Brad Jones and Vicki Henderson.

Wanda was an amazing woman, who loved listening to music, reading, crossword puzzles and most of all, shopping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Wanda is proceeded in death by both of her parents.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Herman Jones; children, Brad and Kim of Tulsa, Vicki and the late Randy Henderson of Tulsa; grandchildren, Amber and Bailey Henderson of Tulsa, Reese and Reid Jones of Tulsa; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Monica Campbell of Tulsa, and Michael Smalley of Tulsa and many other family and friends.

The family is honoring the life of Wanda Lee Jones by having a private family celebration.
