Thomas Gardner Halfast passed away peacefully Saturday, October 8, 2016, surrounded by family and the prayers and thoughts provided by numerous friends and family. He was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, on June 16, 1936. He was a 1958 graduate of Oklahoma State University, and retired as a petroleum engineer from Warren Petroleum / Chevron.

His survivors include his wife, Tommie Jean Halfast; son and daughter-in-law, Kent & Debbie Halfast of Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Halfast and Tom Reynolds of Montana; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Derek Young of Oklahoma; sister, Roberta Allen of Kansas; brother-in-law and his wife, Kevin and Mary Daniel of Nevada; grandchildren: Chris Halfast of Texas; Kyle Halfast of Texas; Lauren Young of Oklahoma; Chelsea Young of Arkansas; Chris Reynolds of New York; Matt Reynolds of Montana; and great grandsons: Peter, Harrison, and Luke.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service.
