Ronald "Ronnie" Michael Peter Hill

July 9, 1987 — August 11, 2017

Ronnie Michael Peter Hill, aged 30, died on the 11th of August in Tulsa, OK. He was born the 9th of July to Karen Michelle Hill and fathered by Peter Andrew Hill. Ronnie had a lifelong love of video games. He immensely enjoyed playing them, talking about them, collecting them, and trading them. He even dreamed of one day designing his own games. Ronnie also had a profound love of music as both a listener and a musician. His favorite bands and artists included Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, White Chapel, Queen, John Lennon, Tupac Shakur, early weezer, and many more. Throughout his life, Ronnie played a variety of instruments, including the trumpet, guitar, and drums. He played with a number of bands, most notably the now disbanded They Were Outlaws, a band once renowned in the Tulsa Deathcore music scene.

Ronnie Hill will be remembered for these things as well as his brutal honesty. Ronnie was nothing if not candid. He called it like he saw it. He presented himself as he saw himself and nothing more. This was an integral part of his sense of humor as well. Ronnie loved comedy in all forms and his honest nature allowed him to explore the comedic facets of life in a no-holds-barred fashion. Ronnie loved to make laughter, but he was just as content to laugh by himself if a joke proved too bizarre for those around him. Most of all, Ronnie will be remembered for his great heart. Though hidden in a shroud of Steven Wright-esque monotone and irreverence for all things, Ronnie had a deep love for those around him. From his closest family member to the person sitting on the bar stool to his right, Ronnie could feel compassion for anyone who would open to him. His love ran deep for all those in need.

Survivors include his grandmother, Deborah Brown; both his parents; and his brothers, Alasdair Hill and Hamish Hill. He also leaves behind a great deal of loving extended family members, friends, and the family dog, Dexter. He will be greatly missed.
