Rita D. Pippin

Rita Dean Pippin was born July 24, 1949, Muskogee, OK to Bill and Audrey Foster.
Rita went to her heavenly home on September 17, 2016 surrounded by many loved ones.
Rita grew up in Muskogee, where she went to school and waited tables at Hilltop Restaurant for many years, if you knew Hilltop then you knew Rita, she was very well liked always friendly.
26 years ago she met the love of her life Bill Pippin, together the both of them built a life full of great adventures and treasured memories.
Rita loved traveling in the semi-truck with Bill, she taught children’s church at Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Braggs, OK. In addition Rita was a caretaker of people, she always welcomed anyone to her home, cooked them a meal and loved to visit.
She hosted a many of gospel singings right in her own living room singing and clapping alongside her grandson Rake. Rita loved the Lord and passed that on to her grandchildren leaving them with:
Matthew 17:20 “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move . Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Rita is preceded in death by her parents, one son Roddy Berentsen,one grandson, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and a very special father in-law Bill Pippin.
Rita is survived by her husband Bill.
Her daughter Toni Dawn, her son Ron Berentsen, step sons Dusty Duvall and wife Malinda, Billy Pippin Jr, God daughter Alicia Beasley & husband Brian.
4 special granddaughters and one special grandson.
Her mother-in-law whom she loved and cared for with all her heart Mary Bernice Pippin.
Brothers and sisters in-law Jerry and Sandy Pippin, Cecil and Pat Guthrie. One sister Carol Keefe and a host of nieces & nephews.
