May Louise Catherman

May Louise (Luther) Catherman, age 96, passed away on February 8, 2018 at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side.

May was born on December 23, 1921 in Sand Springs, OK to Almond Charles Luther and Clarrinda Helen Pease.

May was an avid gardener and was doing it up until the last few months of her life. She was a hard working woman all of her life and during wartime she was our own "Rosie the Riveter". There was never a time in May's life where she would turn down being around her family; they were her true pride and joy. When she wasn't gardening or spending time with her family you could find her relaxing and playing games on her tablet. She was also very involved in her church life in which she was known as the greeter there and at the age of 92 years old she accept Christ into her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Clarrinda Luther; siblings, Robert, Richard and Frank.

To cherish her memories is her sister, Renee; children, Belinda, Helen, John, Barbara and Valerie, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Services for May Catherman will be on Saturday, 11:00 AM, February 17 at the One Church in Glenpool, Oklahoma with Pastor Kevin Lewis officiating.
