John Francis Detrick, Jr.

John Francis Detrick, Jr., age 73 passed away peacefully on August 12, 2016 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

John was born on November 14, 1942 in Garrett, Indiana to John and Mary Ann (Deininger) Detrick. He graduated from Garrett High School in 1960 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in science from John Carroll University. He married his love Christine, in Buffalo, New York and had two children. John served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was employed as a systems engineer for IBM for 30 years. John was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Detrick.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Detrick, children, John Detrick, Mark Detrick, sisters, Judith Schwister, Jeanne Halady, Mary Ann Detrick, brother, James Detrick, and many other loving friends and family.

There is a private memorial service planned at Christ the King, 1520 S. Rockford Ave., Tulsa, OK. 74120.
