Gayle Dee Webb

Born Jan 4, 1928 in Wetumka, OK. Father Henry Lawrence Webb. Mother Beulah Essio Idonia Brooks Webb. Sister Loreta Amelia Webb Fleming Simons. He was married to Paquita Dean Webb for 68 Years and is the father of six children. He graduated from HS in Artesia, NM in 1945. Joined the Navy on Jan 1945 at age 17. His father signed for him since he was not of age and his HS graduated him early so he could join. He and several friends went by train from Albuquerque, NM to San Diego, CA. He was put in charge of his fellow recruits and enjoyed a period of leadership until the training began. After training ended, he spent most of his military career in California as a postal worker. He was honorably discharged upon the end of the war. He worked for the post office before, during and after the war. After the Navy he graduated from Northeastern Assembly of God Bible Institute with a degree and a teaching certificate. He was a Sunday school director for several years and had a beautiful tenor voice. He often sang duets with his wife. He started his career as a U.S. postal worker, moved to accounting, and then to teaching for 17 years at Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee, OK. He became head of the Department of Human Studies until he retired at age 55 due to disability. He continued as an accountant for individuals and companies, mostly keeping account books and completing tax returns, to augment his income for his large family of 6 children. He was a very handy man and could do about anything required to build or repair a home. He remodeled many homes during his life. He was also a pilot for a time in his youth.

He was preceded in death by his sister Loreta Simons, son Timothy Webb and grandson Aaron Webb.

He is survived by wife Paquita Webb. He is also survived by child, Jaletta Webb, grandchild Lourie Champion, grandchild Brandon Champion, spouse Amy and great grandchild Noah. By child Thea Webb Clark, spouse Bill, and son William Clark. By child Gayle David Webb, spouse Deniese, grandchild Adrean Webb, grandchild Andrea King, spouse Shawn, grandchildren Avalyn and Harrison, grandchild Nicholas Webb, spouse Caressa, and great grandchild Aury, grandchild Jami Dillon, grandchild Jeremy Dillon, spouse Tami, and great grandchildren Ashley and Keleigh. By Darlene Webb Weaver, grandchild Derick Weaver, spouse Katie, great grandchild Jade, grandchild Ryan Weaver, spouse Amanda, great grandchildren Ryland and Rance. By Jeanette Webb Mooneyhan and spouse Tracey. By niece Beverly Fleming and nephew Russell Fleming and 3 grandnephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 15, 2016 and a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, September 16, 2016 both at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, 5757 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa.
