Betty Ann Churchwell

Betty Ann (Chelf) Churchwell, age 72, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in a Tulsa hospital with loving family at her bedside. She was born December 9, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Oscar Fleece Chelf and Julia Ann Burns Chelf
Betty was a resident of Okmulgee and worked in the community as a hair stylist and a restaurant manager. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family while vacationing. Betty was known for her cooking and especially her banana pudding.
While married to Harvey Churchwell she coached softball and basketball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Debbie Mendoza and Edna Doyle, and a brother Logan Chelf.
Survivors include her daughter LaDonna (Robert) Corn, son Scott (Elizabeth Hildebrand) Churchwell; sisters Stella (Earl) Crew, Tina (Claude) Ragsdale, Dorothy Henderson. Grandchilden Travis, Timothy, and Matthew Corn; Great grandchildren Brianna, DeShaun, Memphis, and Deighton.
