Ann Mayble Childers

Mayble “Ann” Childers, age 96, passed away the morning of February 21, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ann was born in Henryetta, OK to C.S. Cook and Neva (Ping) Cook. She grew up in Okemah and graduated from Okemah High School. Ann loved her family, traveling the country with her husband in their motor home, and watching OU Football and LA Dodger baseball. She was active for years in the Church of Christ in San Fenrnando, California and Regency Park Church in Tulsa. During her retirement years, she made her home at University Village in Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe, her sister Carolyn Cline and brother, LeeDale Cook.

Ann leaves many loving memories with her family; sons, Ron Cavender and Mike Cavender; step-daughter, Joann Ingman; grandsons, Scott Owens, Craig Cavender, Kale Cavender, granddaughters, Angie Bates, Kacie Cavender, Keri Cavender, Wendy Rawlings and Christen Valentine; great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Owens, Charlotte Cavender, Emily Sharp, and Daphne Valentine; great-grandsons, Carter Owens, Michael Cavender, Dylan Cavender, Dylan, Dean and Gavin Valentine, Trevor and Tristan Moore; as well as many other loving relatives.
