Anita Louise Howe

Anita Louise Howe, 79, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, June 16th, at Hillcrest Medical Center South in Tulsa.

Anita was born in Muskogee, OK on August 23, 1937, a daughter of the late Nora Dalphne (Stange) and James Leroy Abel.

Anita was married to her husband Claude for 62 years. He called his wife a true homemaker. She will be remembered as an excelled seamstress and an outstanding cook. She enjoyed riding on motorcycles but her true passions were her pet cat & dogs.

She was a member of the Okmulgee Episcopal Church.

Left to cherish Anita's memory are her husband Claude Howe of Okmulgee; two sons Robert James, husband of Jona Howe, of Okmulgee and Tony Eugene Howe, of Muskogee; 5 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren and 1 anticipated great-great-grandson.

No public service is planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Okmulgee Humane Society.
